Why I will NOT be using DeviantArt Eclipse.

Ok, when I saw deviant art eclipse, I was pretty excited. A new format, and customization for all? Um, yes please.

But what really got me upset is that while it give customization to "everyone", it takes away a lot of customization from Core Members, and some from non-core users too.

So, this is my profile without Eclipse';

I spent a long time working on it to make it look like my own.

But, with ecliplse...

well..

All of my custom boxes are gone.

Now, I will give credit where it is due. Visually, it is appealing, and non-core member pages will look as good as Core members.

But I bought core FOR the page customization.

And this is NOT what I paid for.

Now, here is the usual DA homepage, with and without eclipse:

It isn't as cohesive.

But what I do like is that you can see commissions, polls, and status updates:

I LOVE THE COMMISSION PAGE THOUGH-

It is REALLY awesome, something I didn't expect!

But, for what deviant art was promising, it isn't it.

That's why I will not be using it.

So, yeah XD
